Hello,I'm tony and living in Hawaii right now. I enjoyed your Page.
I am also one who likes Fundoshi or loincloth.
I have bought a couple of Fundoshi in Japan and now using then.
I also made my own fundoshis.
In Hawaii, when the man dance traditional hula, he usually wear Fundoshi like cloth
called Malo.
it is about two feet wide and four yards long.
Two ends are to be left flipped in front and back.
So it looks like ECCHUU FUNDOSHI from both front and Back.
I have a couple of those, too.
And Sometime I go swimming in one.
Yet, Malo is not really popular among the young here, like Fundoshi in Japan.
However, I am proud to be one who keeps wearing tradition, because a man in a
loincloth looks a real man, doesn't he?
Anyway, please keep publicity Fundoshi throughout Japan and keep it alive.
Thanks-TONY
