A steam crane loading coal on to a truck attached to a South Australian Railways locomotive. 
According to a researcher, what this photograph depicts is a steam crane, 
refuelling the tender of the locomotive with coal. 
The vehicle immediately behind the locomotive proper, is its Tender, 
and is more-or-less a part of the locomotive as it carries the supply of coal and water
for the locomotive itself. Another researcher provided the following information: 
'The 3 ton coaling grab was built by Cowans, Sheldon, Carlisle. 
It is one of a batch of three built in 1908
